Alexander Stolz advises in all areas of intellectual property law, with focus on trademark and unfair competition law. In particular, he provides legal advice for consumer goods and cosmetic companies in all aspects of IP management, in particular regarding product launches and product marketing. He represents clients both in litigious as well as out of court matters in order to protect and enforce their IP-rights and coordinates international proceedings in IP infringement cases.
Alexander studied law at the University of Passau with a main focus on Information Technology and Media Law. Parallel to studying German law Alexander studied also British law during two semesters. During his studies and after graduating, Alexander worked as a research assistant at an information technology law chair at the University of Passau. Alexander completed his legal traineeship with stages in an intellectual property law firm specialized in the field of luxury cosmetics in Berlin and in the legal department of a beauty products manufacturer in Paris.
After his legal traineeship Alexander worked in the intellectual property and information technology department of an international law firm in Berlin. Alexander joined KNPZ in November 2015 and speaks German, English and French.
