Amélie von Bernstorff advises on defamation and personality law, on all matters of intellectual property law and unfair competition as well as data protection and IT law. She represents clients, especially publishing houses, both in litigious as well as out of court matters. Amélie also offers advice on data protection related issues with respect to the drafting and negotiation of contracts and the implementation of projects.
Amélie grew up in Brussels and studied law in Heidelberg and Münster, where she specialised in information, telecommunication and media law. She completed her legal traineeship in Hamburg with IP-related stages at an international law firm, the 3rd senate of the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg and the Otto GmbH & Co. KG.
Amélie has supported KNPZ since 2011 as an academic staff member before joining the law firm as an attorney in August 2014. Amélie is fluent in French and English.
