Gerald Neben has conducted hundreds of IP- proceedings for his clients and was involved in a large number of leading IP and media cases up to the Federal Court of Justice and the Federal Constitutional Court. For instance, he advised Axel Springer AG, Bauer Publishing Group and Associated Newspapers Ldt. in landmark defamation and privacy cases. He recently represented Konami Entertainment GmbH in a case regarding the ownership of merchandising rights in the German Football League.
Gerald Neben was admitted to the Hamburg Bar in 2001 and, before founding KNPZ, worked in the IP/Media/Technology practice group of the international law firm Lovells. Having completed his law studies and earned a Doctorate Degree at the University of Hamburg, he received a Master in Law degree at the University of California at Berkeley. Gerald Neben regularly publishes articles on media and communication law and teaches copyright law at the Hamburg Media School. He is a member of the German Public Relations Society (DPRG).
