Lars-Eric Appel

Lars-Eric Appel provides legal advice in all areas of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on trademark, design, and competition law. He advises internationally active companies in the legal coordination of cross-border product launches, marketing and advertising campaigns, as well as with the safeguarding of their intellectual property rights. In so doing, he assumes charge of both advising his clients out of court and representing them in court.

Mr. Appel studied law at the University of Passau and subsequently completed a master’s degree (LL.M.) in intellectual property law at the Queen Mary University of London. While there, he also studied issues involving the legal consequences of the restauration of digital art.

His clerkship was completed at, inter alia, a Hamburg IP and advertising law firm as well as with a division of the Regional Court of Hamburg specializing in trademark and competition law.

Lars-Eric Appel has been a member of the bar since 2017.
