Marie Spitzlberger

Marie Spitzlberger advises and represents international corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-ups in media law, IT law and all areas of intellectual property law. A particular focus of her practice is litigation in the areas of press law, freedom of expression as well as IT law. Her legal practice also includes drafting licensing and distribution agreements.

Marie Spitzlberger studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg and in Copenhagen. During her studies and after her first state examination in 2019, she worked as a research assistant for a large international law firm in Frankfurt and for a renowned intellectual property law firm in Munich. During her legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg, she gained experience in contract and IP/IT law inter alia at the Media Authority Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein and in the legal department of a listed company.

Marie Spitzlberger joined KNPZ as a lawyer in October 2022.
